A slight difference is fine and not a concern as some variation is acceptable as long as they are active for their age and also eating healthy.
You could probably prefer to observe if the child is active for their age and eating healthy.
include foods such as panner, ghee, milk, fruit milk shakes, also soaked dry fruits , nuts and seeds ,
eggs , chicken fish if preferred ,
you can include chana, rajma , lobia , sprouts , bengal gram etc

Right now your child should be somewhere around 18 so I understand your concern but currently I’m just going to recommend you to give all family foods plus proteins and check with your doctor what is the issue that why your child is not gaining weight if any other health tonic would be recommended for good support
