#asktheexperts Hii my baby is just 17 days old and he is having some baby acne on face and neck. Today after sleeping his right eye closed for some time and having some eye pus.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy3 years agoA. they are baby acne mainly due to allergy you have to just balance according to the type of skin of the child. usually the skin of the child is mainly dry and sensitive then in these areas you have to apply coconut oil or moisturizing lotion in the areas where sweating is present and skin folds there is no need to apply oil or lotion but you have to regularly clean it with soap and you can apply baby powder if needed. take care of the skin child in this manner on the whole body.

Usually, these breakouts will clear on their own with time, but breast milk can help ease them and help with your baby's sensitive skin. Soak a cotton ball in breast milk and softly pat it on your baby's face.
