#asktheexperts Hi Sir, My daughter is 1 year old. She is having constipation from last 15 days and she cries while passing the stool. Also she is having fever ranging from 100 to 101 from yesterday evening. We gave her paracetamol drops 1.5 ml every 6 hours but the fever comes back every 5-6 hours. Also she is teething. Can you please suggest. Thank you

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months .
you can give bonnisan drops anhd some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medicadtions are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .
