Q.

#asktheexperts hi sir my baby is 1 month old at time of birth his weight was 2.58kg full term. At time of discharge they suggested to give vitamin d3 supplemnet only.but i took my child for another hospital where they are suggestin MOKTEL multivitamin drop for 6months which also containa 400IU of D3 in it. Should i stop vitamin D3 drops and start MOKTEL drops? His weight is now 3.5kg

A. track with doctor. Well, this looks ok but avoid self medication. try giving proper diet n don't miss on dose in this. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide you

No I would suggest you to continue Piditha the doctor has advised in the first place D3 has a ton importance to be given for initial one year the other supplement that you are giving her some substance of D tiwari this not totally based on the three so you should be giving it to the child separately
