Q.

#asktheexperts Hi our 5month old baby has started falling asleep on her tummy. She finds comfort in that position, no matter how many times we turn her, she goes back to the same position. Is this normal? If not any tips to avoid this?

A. Look if the child knows how to change the side easily for breathing and has an understanding of rolling over then sleeping on the tummy is not a problem because otherwise the child doesn’t know things which is not good so when you put your child sideways to sleep then put a hollow pillow under the head of the child and put a heavy pillow in front and back so that the child doesn’t have a scope of changing the position to tummy
