#asktheexperts Hi,My son will soon turn 1year on 12Aug..His birth weight was 2.2.Now it is 6.5kg..He is meeting his milestone..Standing crawling and taking small steps..I'm only worried if his weight is ok according to birth weight...They say by 1year he should triple his weight which he is achieving..He eats everything n has started cows milk

Ma’am actually the child was born with a low weight gain itself which is why your child is not gaining sufficient amount of weight with the progress currently I’m just going to recommend you to that you should please consult your doctor to know and understand what’s the problem as once the doctors is going to examine they can correctly tell you what kind of diet should you be giving and what all health supplements would be required to be given to the child
