#asktheexperts hi ... my son is 4 months old and by mistake his nanny had applied a pain ointment instead of a rash cream. though i have cleaned it properly but still the whole area is red ... swollen and painful .... what cream can I use as a quick remedy as his rash cream is not affecting him at all .

Uma RamMom of a 7 yr old boy3 years agoA. Hello good morning !! If swollen, reddish rashes are by applying ointment or already baby having rashes???
Don't clean thoroughly as rashes might spread ..
Make rash are dry completely apply virgin coconut oil on rashes gently and leave for 15-20 minutes don't spread like ointment just apply oil and leave.
If you observe rashes are spreading then consult Paeditrician.
