#asktheexperts Hi, My son is 11 month old getting high fever frequently & getting reduced after giving medicine CALPOL 120mg paracetamol. After 3 r 4 hrs, the fever is increasing again. This is happening from last 2 days.. could you pls guide or suggest

A. The fever has a nature to repeat how it is repeating with your child which is why it is suggested to give medicine every six hours and if the fever doesn’t subside within 72 hours of the medication then you have to consult a doctor because it is not a normal fever
