#asktheexperts Hi..! my friend used to smoke cigarettes 5 times a day before she knew her pregnancy but she quit right after she knew her pregnancy. Now her baby is 10 months old. And again My friend returned to her old habit and started smoking cigarettes but this time only a cigarette a day. Even though she smokes outside the outside will this effect her baby's health? help please

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist2 years agoA. look ok. still. in all cases you can't take self medication. specifically in this case you need ultra sound and check up both and take pills only after a proper prescription ok
