Q.

#asktheexperts Hi, my daughter is 2years old. We want to start potty training but not able to make her sit. She is usually active all the time and hardly sits for any activity. She is not expressing as well after doing in diapers. How can we make her sit?

A. potty training and toilet training should be initiated as soon as the child completes one and half years of age. avoid before that except if you feel that the child is giving cues when he or she wants to pass stool. also good demonstration has to be given again and again to the child to to to reinforce the habit. make the child sit on potty seat daily so that the child gets accustomed and not fearful of the seat and situation kindly go through various articles on potty training on firstcry.

A. U Should actually make your child sit on the WC it self you take your child every two hours slowly your child is going to learn it even if your child is active you should keep your child narrating some story and make your child sit over there because it’s important if you don’t start it right now then it would be too late
