#asktheexperts Hi.. my baby is more than 8.5 months old but his first tooth is yet to erupt. Is it normal?? What should b done for faster tooth eruption. Plz 🙏 advise

A. yes it is totally fine you can wait till the age of 18 months for the first tooth to erupt massage the gums with a clean cold cotton cloth and give clean silicone teether to chew on

A. If your baby is eating solid foods, offer cold foods and beverages. Allow your baby to suck on a clean, cold, moist cloth, or provide a tooth-cutting ring or pacifier. Gently rub your baby's gums with your finger, wet gauze, or a cold spoon.
