Q.

#asktheexperts hi, my baby is 5 months old. he is having fever since yesterday. I breastfeed him at 5.30am and I patted him. He didn't burp. At 6.30 am ,I gave him CALPOL drops. After taking medicine,he immediately burped and a little vomit came out. I am not sure whether the medicine came out or not. he is having 100.5 fever. what I have to do now?

A. Actually if the child vomits massively or properly like how you say proper vomit has been done immediately or within first half an hour of medication then you have to repeat the medicine otherwise as of now it’s also if you see the fever is reducing after giving medicine despite of little vomiting then that is alright you can repeat it again after six hours
