#asktheexperts hi madam ..my son has 5 months old..I'm going to office .he is not taking any formula milk or cerelac and crying a lot ..what can I do now madam..

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. dear mum, if you have been exclusively breastfeeding, then there is no need to give formula even if you are going out to work. cerelac or any other top food should be introduced only after completion of 6 months.
breastfeed baby before going and after coming back from work. while at work baby can be fed with expressed breast milk using katori and spoon. breast milk stays good at room temperature for 4 to 6 hours and in the chiller section of the refrigerator for 24 hours.
