Q.

#asktheexperts Hi, I’ve delieverd a baby girl 8 months back. I havent get my first period yet. When can i accept the same. I exclusivly breastfeed my baby for 6 months and after that breastfeed only at nights approx 6-8 times as she often wakes up at night.

A. Write Your Answer Here Especially when you’re breast-feeding you may not get your period and it is advisable that you keep using contraception and once you complete one year after giving birth that you can consult your doctor if you’re still didn’t get your cycles

A. That’s Feeding cycle is very much normal but if you give heavy dinner to the child and the feeding cycle would be about 2 to 3 times in the night because at this age kids normally sleep peacefully apart from that you will resume the menstruation cycle whenever your body is ready for it so you do not have to worry about it you can even resume it after one year to 18 months
