Q.

#asktheexperts Hi, I am exclusively breastfeeding my baby but sometimes I feel that my milk supply is low. I have to give formula to satisfy his hunger. It happens once or twice in a day. He is one month old. How could I overcome this?

A. Dear mum, check your baby’s urine count. If your baby is passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours then feeding is sufficient. The more you breastfeed more will be the milk supply. Foods like methi, green leafy vegetables, tree gum or gond, dill leaves or shepu, garden cress seeds, saunth, garlic intake can help increase the milk supply. Have lots of fluids and water. Don’t be stressed.
