#asktheexperts hi i am arundhathi, during pregnancy time I taking thyroid tablet 12.5 mcg tablet, after birth doctor test the baby thyroid test, it is normal. after delivery doctor suggest me to stop the thyroid tablet. Now baby is 3 months old again baby also check the thyroid test, is it necessary?

A. yes it's very crucial to check thyroid in each and every trimester in pregnancy

A. hello yes some moms get thyroid during pregnancy n later be normal but it is very important to monitor the thyroid level frequently to make sure it is not reoccured will be safe too
