#asktheexperts Hi dr, we are combination feeding our 1 month old kid. Earlier while breastfeeding he used to pass motion 3-4 times a day. But now after goving formula he only passes motion once in a day or once in two days. Is this normal?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. what you have described is totally normal and there is no need to worry regarding this. but if you feel that it it seems to be something different you can meet your doctor regarding thdis and the doctor will guide you.

Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. hello dear parents yes it's normal in newborn babies it will better if you give exclusively breastfeeding to baby till 6 month and if breast milk is not sufficient then you can continue with formula milk
