#asktheexperts Hi Dr, Our baby is 7 weeks old and continuously demanding for feed and crying if there is shortage of milk. Please advise what a mom has to do. Thanks

A. Hello father this is called as cluster feeding .. but at times what happens is the babies love to latch as well which feels they are taking their feed . Ask the mother to check for the flow of the milk .. and also keep her hydrated with fluids and also nutritious filling food too . Try to keep the baby away from the mom once you feel she has fed and taken burp just to distract her ..
