#asktheexperts Hi Dr., my son is 3 months old and he has too much gas reflux, spitting milk more often and stool is also green yellow mix. I have consulted my pediatrician he had put him on Rantac and Domstal but the situation is same. He is on mix feed, formula and EBM both through bottle. please suggest what to do.

A. Dr. his milk intake has also decreased, is it also the common symptom of GERD? should I do anything ??

A. gastroesophageal reflux disease also known as g e r d is very common problem in small children less than 6 months of age and it does not have any permanent treatment and the problem decreases with increasing age of the child and the important thing is that you have to keep the child in upright position forx more duration for which gerd chairs are available and at the same time you have to continue and tested medicines given by the doctor.x reflux is very common cause of recurrent cough cold as well as not gaining weight in infants.
