#asktheexperts hi Dr. my baby is 40 days old and he cries a lot I'm not sure whether he is colic or not but he is having gas issues, what can I do to help him? I put him to bed after 15-20 mins of feed and their is one more issue, from 3-4 days he take feed for 5 mins and sleeps, not taking proper feed.

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Yes it might be colic so give colicaid drops to the baby and try to feed baby around 20 to 25 mins and burp after feeds and give tummy time to baby

it is happened due to indigestion or due to colic issue
if necessary you can give colicaid drop after consulting with pediatrician
you can apply Babyhug tummy rollen for better digestion
please give only breast milk
