#asktheexperts hi Dr my baby is 4 month 20 days old her current waight is 5.8 kg and her birth waight was 3 kg is that good waight or what.. her last check up was 2 months back when she's 3 month that time her waight was just 5 kg.. after 2 months of gap she's increasd just 800 grms ...it is worrying me ...what should I do

A. Hello , However, infants need more calories in relation to their size. Every month, your baby should gain about 1.5 to 2 pounds and grow 2 to 3 inches. An infant's weight by 4 to 6 months should be double their birth weight. no need to worry. baby is growing and gaining weight.
