#asktheexperts Hi Dr, my baby is 27 days and she is frequently having motion atleast 10 times a day but very little. Is it normal for new born babies? or is there something we should be concerned about? baby is having only breast milk no formula is used.

A. No problem if baby is passing adequate urine. If baby is active and playful,  no fever,  passing adequate urine ie.  minimum 6-8 times per day, then no need to worry for motion ( once in 7 days or  15 times per day-  both conditions are totally normal. lg
