Q.

#asktheexperts Hi Doctor, My toddler is 18 months and the issue is he does not chew his food . I have been trying to get him to chew his meal but in vain. please suggest what to do now.

A. Then by the end of the day you may get tired and you give purée food to the child that is what you are giving you have to stop doing that give proper food to the child teach your child how to chew the food if your child is not learning or not doing it intentionally let it be don’t give food to the child let your child stay without food when your child will feel hungry or child will eat what you are giving and how manner you are giving it is just that the more you cater to their unwanted needs they get into habit of making you do that just have to put a stop to it
