#asktheexperts hi doctor, my son is taking solids only if I feed my milk only, is that ok to give food along with milk feeding

A. I tried giving food without breastfeeding him but he is not opening the mouth even he is hungry, so I tried this way and when I give feeding him then he is eating, could you suggest me how I can get rid of it

A. Combining them together at the same time would not be a good idea but yes if you’re giving it separately one time me and one time milk is completely alright as that is the right pattern that you should follow otherwise the child will not give up on breastfeeding will always stick to it to eat the food and that wouldn’t be good for you
