Q.

#asktheexperts Hi doctor, my baby rolled over at 4 months and one month later he has stopped rolling over. Now he is not rolling over at all. Is something wrong or is it normal?

A. Your baby may be able to kick over from their tummy to their back as early as 3 to 4 months old. It usually takes them until about 5 or 6 months old to flip from back to tummy, though, because they need stronger neck and arm muscles for that maneuver.Tell your pediatrician if your child has not rolled over by 6 months and isn't scooting, sitting, or locomoting in some other way. Another worrisome sign is if your child loses several different milestones, for example, she stops babbling and stops trying to reach for objects.
