A. the first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having. give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food. keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever to body sponge to decrease the surface temperature and should be carriced out for at least 20 minutes with normal temperature water. higher medicines (ibugesic / meftal-p) whether required or not will be told by the doctor.

A. See you have not mentioned the current age of your child but looking at the current weight you can easily give approximately 1ML to your child as of now and that is what is going to help in subsiding the fever since you’ve already given medicine at 1 o’clock you can repeat it again at 7 PM but as of now I would recommend you to do cold sponging that’s going to help in reducing down the temperature
