#asktheexperts, Hi doctor.. My baby boy is 11 months old and he is having fever,cold and cough from 2 days. He is on medication but he is refusing to take anything. What to do??

A. Hi thanks for your reply… what i mean to say is my son is not eating food cerelac or milk, for that what should i do ??

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there hg could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
