Q.

#asktheexperts Hi doctor I have 2 query regarding my baby. 1. her birth weight was 2.42kg and now she is almost 11month old and her weight is 7.7 kg. is her weight proper? 2. now she is able to stand with support at what age baby start walking?

A. the weight is less but within limits walking without support will come maximum by 18 months of age so before that there is no need to worry and you have to just continue regular diet of the child as well as bavby massage and regular massage will also help in improving the muscle strength which will help in walking.

A. Hello dear parent! Your baby seems to be doing well. It is said to be ideal if the baby doubles it’s birth weight by 6 months completion and triples by one year completion. Gradually include all food groups in your child’s diet that is healthy and staple in your family. Remember that each child is unique and different when it comes to reaching milestones.
