#asktheexperts Hi doctor, I am having an imbalance in the TSH levels after delivery. I am changing dosage of thyronorm as per my doctors advice. Still it did not come to normal value. It’s been 5 months. My baby is only on my breast milk till now. Will this imbalance in thyroid hormone have any impact on my child’s growth

A. You can start formulas milk for the baby as baby is about to turn six months and to maintain your thyroid levels start doing yoga and pranayam and maintain a healthy lifestyle eat millet roti in afternoon lunch and avoid refined foods junk foods stay active

Q. I didn't have thyroid earlier but as a safety measures I was given Thyronorm 12.5mcg in my entire pregnancy and was continuing till yesterday when my baby girl turned 54 days old. I have stopped taking Thyronorm as per doc advise. I and my 54 days old daughter did TSH testing when I was still having thyroid medicine.
