Q.

#asktheexperts hi doc, my daughter is 11 month old and since yesterday she is being cranky , fussy , refusing to eat , drink. we guess her teething period has been started as she is continually dropping saliva from her mouth. please let me know what should i to to reduce her pain.

A. massage the gums with a clean moist cotton cloth 4-5 times a day. give her cold silicone teethers to chew on them. This will help in reliving the pain and irritation in the gums. make sure whatever the child puts in the mouth is always clean
