#asktheexperts hi doc my daughter is 1 yr 6 m old she is suffering from HFMD from past 2-3 days we consult our regular paediatric he suggested some lotion & oral care medicine how long does it take to cure and my baby is hungry bcox of sore throat & some blisters in her mouth she can't able to have her food proper she is getting very weak so pls suggest me what type of food will be good & healthy for her in this critical time and her weight is not gaining proper from past 2-3 months she is her same weight of 8kg according to her age how much weight should be there for my baby

A. Kids can take 15 to 20 days and sometimes a month or so depending upon the severity of the situation and the mouth would be really troubled for the child so you can give more of ice creams during this time if the child is not having that is going to help in providing easy into the mouth
