#asktheexperts Hi doc, my baby woke up at midnight and crying is there any reason behind this?? what can we do??

A. Hello good morning !! Waking up in the middle of the night ,crying is normal in infants.. Due to hunger or diaper discomfort they wake up.. Check the diaper or nappy . Give feed ,while taking feed babies get back to sleep ,after holding or gently patting ,rocking they get back to sleep If the baby is crying more even after feed or not taking feed ,not diaper discomfort then might be tummy ache (colic pain) usually happens in infants,check with the Doctor.
