#asktheexperts hi doc. is it safe to use honey nipple to calm down to my baby.

A. avoid honey can be given only after completion of one year of the child. occasionally, honey contains bacteria that can produce toxins in a baby's intestines, leading to infant botulism, which is a very serious illness. after 1 year there ids no problem in giving it to the child

A. Not at all it is not considered save Nita is considered healthy so I would not advise you to go for it if your child is crying try to find out the reason it’s mostly going to be stomach pain but don’t give any honey nipple to do child or for that matter the pacifier
