#asktheexperts Hi can you tell me who I have severe breast pain after feeding my one month old for an extended period of time. It doesn’t appear to be engorgement because pain does not reduce with feeding. Can you pls tell me what is it ( pain throughout the breasts not on nipples only) and what can I do to treat it? Thank you

Sometimes, due to this, also, there can be some kind of discomfort while feeding. Also ensure that you latch your baby well onto the breast and make a good skin Contact while breastfeeding to avoid push and pull.
