#asktheexperts hi. At what month baby should double her birth weight? My baby is 3.5 months old and her weight is 5.5. Her birth weight is 2.9. Is it fine? She just gained. 5kg last month.

A. hi dear Growth expectations: From birth to 3 months, you can expect your baby to grow 1/2 to 1 inch (about 1.5 to 2.5 centimeters) per month. They'll probably gain 5 to 7 ounces (about 140 to 200 grams) per week. Yup, that's why those newborn onesies don't last long.
