Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site.
if there is local swellxing you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.
vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

You can keep ice cube or cold pack on to data factory as 5 to 6 times in the day depending upon your need that is going to help me settling down the swelling and irritation still if you feel pain is there then you can give paracetamol to the child even if there is no fever
