#asktheexperts Hello Sir, My Daughter is suffering from cold. We have completed 3 Days course of “Antibiotics + Paracetamol + Gas/Stomach Pain Killer”. nowadays she is suffering with loose motions. Could you please suggest what should we do? Thanks

A. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very udseful . Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used idn a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms . Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

A. U give indirect steam to the child You can also nebulise your child because these things are quite good to reduce on the cold and condition if the child is having any along with the medicines if you do these things simultaneously the results are always going to be better
