#asktheexperts hello sir, my daughter is 7 month old .can I give cow milk mixed with water to her. also please tell the proportion of the quantity. thank you.

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Cow milk can be introduced once your baby completes one year of age and till then give formula milk and for preparing porridge you can use it and give semi solid foods

No We should not be giving animal milk to the child before the age of one year is strictly not recommended because it can cause infections to the child so if you want you can start giving it to the child after the age of one year not before that and that too in the proportion of eighties to 20
