#asktheexperts hello sir my baby girl is 9months old she is passing very hard stool I have trying everything but no solve this problem I have given duphalac syrup 5ml bd but no solve so pls suggest best solution

Sindhu Shree LSMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Dear Mom, Give more Summer fruit juices like watermelon juice melon juice, etc. Tender coconut water, water. Change his food feeding in semi solid or puree form. It will be helpfull for him to be in normal Poop Cycle.

Constipation is usually a very common problem seen in many where the most important causative factor is decrease intake of fiber rich diet along with lesser fluid intake. some food like junk food mostly containing maida and oily food can aggravate such condition. Here the diet modification should be tried first so encourage fibre diet give fruits and vegetagble . Avoid excess of cows or buffalo milk and maida containing food . Medications like lactulose , milk of magnesia and Peg (muout ) powderare used . In efmergency situation soap water with finger stimulation in rectal area and glycerine suppository can be tried .

You try giving a prune juice to the child before your child goes to sleep in the night and warm water in the morning the things are going to be very helpful along with that you should start giving papaya to the child one time in the mail and that is also going to be quite helpfulWrite Your Answer Here
