#asktheexperts Hello Sir/Mam, I have completed 39th week and my Cervix is still closed, also there are two loops of umbilical cord around baby's neck, My AFI is around 7-8 cms. fetal movement is Okay, Doppler is okay and FHR is 138 My gynaecologist suggested to plan the delivery. what should we do please suggest, Shall we wait as cervix is not dilated and also when can cervix get dilated.

But why the cervix is not still open
is it a common issue
is there anything I can do to dilate the cervix (any exercise).

if not doctor will then go for the c section delivery..
the observing doctor will have better idea..
follow the gynaecologist..
