Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Breastmilk is always the best milk. WHO recommends exclusive breastfeeding until six months. So far no one was able to make a perfectly alternate product for breastmilk which is highly nutritious and has some incredible elements. Formula is a close to and safe choice for those who cannot exclusively breastfeed due to various reasons. So only if u r not able to exclusively breastfeed you can go for formula. If u plan to give that in bottle, The baby may have a nipple confusion. If u r parallely Breastfeeding as well as bottle feeding then u may try using Medela calma bottle and teats. It worked for my kids. This bottle works similar to Breastfeeding. The milk won't come unless the baby sucks. It will give the same feel as feeding from the mother. You may give it a try.
