#asktheexperts Hello! My baby is 10.5 months old and she used to eat so well. Few days back she suddenly started vomiting for which doctor gave her an injection and after that she isn’t eating anything till date. What should I do?

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. Check the oral cavity and see if there are any enlarged tonsils or adenoids which might be causing difficulty for the baby to swallow. What injection was given and why? Without any reason injection won’t be given and definitely injection won’t make the baby to avoid food unless the baby is having some issues with the health

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. It's also very common for many infections that cause fever to cause a decreased appetite, too. As long as your little one is still drinking and peeing, not eating as much as usual is okay for most minor illnesses; no special diet is necessary.
