Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. for low breast milk supply you need to take plenty of liquids and high fibre diet and give frequent feeding to your child so that milk production increases as it is a hormonal phenomenon regulated by signals to the brain so you should feel positively motivated and do not try to give formula milk unless advised by your paediatrician and if the weight gain and urinary output of your baby is normal .if required you can also take help from a lactation consultant who will guide you in a very proper way regarding establishment of good lactation as well as will help y!tou in relieving pain if you have any. medicines are not of much help in this but definitely your diet is very important.

Hi See if you do not have sufficient breastfeed and then you’ll have to be formula feeding but in the meanwhile is a lactation supplements are not helping you try to have at least good amount of water maybe that’s going to help in building up maybe you have changed or altered something into your diet may have lead to reduction of breastfeeding try this and if it does not then you’ll have to continue with formula feeding we basically would not be left with any choice that way
