#asktheexperts hello experts I am mother of a 8 month baby girl. she is 7 kgs in weight. she is not eating properly due to which she is not gaining any weight. what can I do?

A. DIET : - it is very important to give all types of food made from cereals (RICE WHEAT and other) pulses (DAL) vegetable milk and fruits to the child and this will only help in increasing the growth weight height immunity of the child. YOU CAN GO FOR ANY RECIPES AND FLAVOURS AND TASTE ACCORDING TO THE THE PREFERENCE OF THE CHILD. Start with small quantity and gradually increase the quantity. you can go for different colour plates as well as different size plates to make eating more attractive. Also it is very important to rule out nutritional deficiency in your child because that is one of the most common cause of loss of appetite in the child. You can add ghee and dry fruits powder to the diet to make it more calorie rich. so kindly continue your efforts

A. Hi parent please give daily massage and sun light exposure please give easily digestible food like curd rice and khichdi vegetable soup and upma daliya mashes etc
