#asktheexperts hello dr this is first baby and i m having problem in breastfeeding due to tender nipples they are very painful i tried nipple butter and ointmnt but there was no relief some say it will be normal after sometime but when ? What should i do for that relief

Shaista TarannumMom of a 16 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. initially it will be a bit painful for some new mothers and yes it will certainly get better gradually. otherwise try and use nipple shield and see if it helps. after some days it should get better. otherwise please consult your pediatrician itself once.
