A. Ideal weight of a 6 months old baby boy should be between 7.5 to 8 kgs depending on birth weight and feeding patterns. Your baby's weight is find and there is no need to be concerned. Now, you can include si solid foods in the diet like lentil puree, mashed banana, apple, pear and carrot puree, ragi and sooji porridge, home made cerelac etc. as it will also help in healthy weight gain.
