#asktheexperts Hello Dr My baby girl birth weight is 2.5 kg and now she is 4 months and 9 days old. Her weight is 5.4 kg. She is on breastfeed exclusively. Guide about her weight??

A. It’s a healthy weight in your child actually has doubled the birth weight by completing the age of four months which is very very healthy usually a child should gain a minimum of 400 g in a month and it can go up to the weight of 1 kg in a month on the maximum side so all in all your child is gaining very healthy weight
