#asktheexperts/ hello dr..my baby boy is 5 months old..he takes mothers feed..can I give cerelac or any solid food..and now the weather is very hot..I feel that my baby is thirsty so can I give water

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. better to start solids after 6 mth. You can increase the feeding frequency n feed longer in each feeding session in summers. Mother should have to drink more water.

Saranya SMom of 2 children2 years agoA. only mother's milk till 6 months completion. mother's milk has lots of water which is nutritious. water is not nutritious compared to mother's milk. keep feeding the baby at regular intervals. my baby just takes one minute to feed whenever he is thirsty.
