#asktheexperts hello dr my 2yr3m old boy is having running nose and phlegm cough since last Sunday but its not going. i m using his last time used medicines (but only once in a day dr prescribed twice a day)which was given 2-3 weeks back only. do i need to visit his paediatrician orelse should i continue the medicines. ty

Mam if you’re following the course of the medication which was given previously then you should continue it in the same way as it has been prescribed earlier giving medicine once in a day will not help and yes if the child doesn’t get better despite of completing the course then you can consult your doctor again
