#asktheexperts Hello doctor. My son is 6 years old. From past 1 1/2 month he gets fever every week for a day or two . Temp will go upto 100.4 max. Not more than that. But every week for 1-2 days he is down with fever. No cold, no cough only temp

A. if your child is having recurrent fever you will have to visit the doctor to find the diagnosis because if it is due to same infection or a superadded infection or a different infection. the doctor will go for blood investigations along with blood culture which will help in przoper diagnosis. as soon as the child recover kindly go for flu vaccine which will help in preventing recurrent viral infections. go for proper homemade food made from cereals pulses vezgetable milk and fruits which will help in improving the overall immunity of the child

Please check with your paediatrician they will give you proper guidance on that because the most of the doctors would say that fever is a response to an infection so maybe there is some infection that’s popping up every time and sometimes due to poor immunity also this can happen I suggest you please consult your doctor regarding this
